One Piece Manga 928: Spoilers and Release Date We begin with Sanji or Sanguro serving noodles to some girls in Wano while hanging out with Usopp, Robin, and Franky. However, we get some trouble as some of Kyoshiro's henchmen start a fuss with Sanji's business. Fortunately, Sanji and Franky defeat the henchmen and we get a new Wano citizen, a laughing and crying girl named Toko who I quite imagine will probably be annoying in the anime next year. Toko's role is that of a kamuro or an aid to a Courtesan known as Komurasaki. Seeing Komurasaki make an entire street full of men faint from blood loss because of how pretty she is was typical Oda humor that I enjoy. Also, we get a random surprise from the old shamisen lady that mentored Robin in the Geisha industry. It won't be long before Robin, or O-Robi, has to meet Orochi. The speculation of Sanji eventually fighting Queen grows as Kyoshiro tells his men to contact Queen's soldiers to fight Sanji. Admit it, the more you look at Kyoshiro, the more you just want to punch him in the face. Finally, the big reveal. Orochi matches his namesake as he is an Yamata no Orochi Zoan devil fruit user. Is he a guy with five dragon heads appearing out of his back? Are they from his legs/crotch as if they were tentacles? In the end, Komurasaki and Robin better watch themselves.

Jump Force brings together Luffy, Goku and Naruto

Bandai Namco is bringing the Big three of anime world together in an all-new fighting game. Introducing Jump Force, a meeting of several major anime franchises including Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Death Note. Jump Force was revealed during Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference with a stunning debut trailer, teasing a clash of the most popular characters in anime and manga to ever grace the pages of Shonen Jump. Jump Force is planned for release in 2019.

Jump Force is a 3D brawler/fighter where you’ll be able to create three-character tag teams from the various series. Fights will take place on Earth in a number of landmarks like the New York Times Square. The villains from all of these iconic series are plotting to rule over humanity, and the heroes are all coming together to stop them. Catch the trailer below featuring Dragon Ball’s Goku and Frieza, One Piece’s Luffy, as well as Naruto.

The announcement trailer featured characters including Luffy of One Piece, Goku and Frieza of Dragon Ball Z, Naruto himself, and Light Yagami of Death Note. Each character was given enough screentime in the trailer to show off one of their iconic abilities: Goku goes Super Saiyan, Naruto uses Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Luffy uses Gear 4, and Light hovers menacingly just out of reach. Alright, Light’s abilities are probably more closely related to the Death Note, but avoiding confrontation is definitely a talent of his.

The trailer’s premise features each anime’s world colliding in a central location: New York City. The various stages shown in the trailer show crash sites as if the different anime shows crashed into Earth. Expect a very anime story to connect each anime’s characters in very silly and over the top ways. How else will fans be able to solve which anime’s protagonist is truly the strongest of them all?

Fans are already intensely speculating about what other characters and franchises might be included in Jump Force. The fours shown in the announcement trailer are all very modern popular series in the USA. Shonen Jump has dozens of other series to pull from if it pleases. But will it focus on what’s popular in the west or mix in manga series that are only popular in Japan?

Other likely roster additions include characters from Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and even My Hero Academia. Popular Japanese manga including Haikyu!!!, Food Wars, and Gintama could also make the cut. Don’t expect more than a handful of characters per franchise, however. In past Jump mash-up games, no more than two or three characters from each series seem to be added to the roster.

Jump Force will be a 3D fighter akin to Tekken, developed by Spike Chunksoft. Spike Chunsoft is known for other anime fighting games including the One Piece: Burning Blood and J-Stars Victory games. Expect more information at E3 or in the months to come.

Jump Force is currently in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game is built on Unreal Engine 4 and will be enhanced for PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X when it launches in 2019.
